開平碉樓《南樓》
[b][color=Purple]南樓位於開平市赤坎鎮騰蛟村。建於1912年，樓高19米共7層。佔地面積39平方米，為鋼筋混凝土結構，每層設有機槍和探照燈，是司徒氏人為防盜賊而建。抗戰時期，七名司徒氏自衛隊隊員曾在此堅守八天九夜阻擊日軍，最後被捕並遭日軍殘暴殺害。1983年，開平縣人民政府公佈南樓為縣文物保護單位。1999年開平市人民政府籌資300多萬元，在原址建成南樓紀念公園，增設紀念館、雕像、牌樓等。
